It felt wonderful to participate in this exhibition after the 2 year hiatus because of “Covid”. I was happy to attend the Gala Opening Reception / Vernissage (with my mask on) and take in the festive feelings!
I would like to sincerely thank the organizers of “La francophonie dans tous ses états”: Sébastien Hardy, Project Co-ordinator & Audrey DeBruyne, (Past) President of The Club Culturel Francophone de Thunder Bay for your dedicated hard work in bringing the exhibition to life. I truly appreciated the opportunity to be asked to write a short article about the exhibition for The Walleye Magazine, merci! Also special thanks to David Karasiewicz, Executive/Artistic Director & Renee Terpstra, Development/Administrator at Definitely Superior Art Gallery. I absolutely love the new DefSup gallery space!
The exhibition was made possible with support from the Ontario Arts Council and Heritage Canada. Thank you!
